Production Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead Engineering Change Order (ECO), New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from inception to completion.
  • Train, coach, and negotiate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and logistic agents to meet production’s lead time, quality, and cost goals.
  • Identify and initiate product and process improvement opportunities within and outside production department to enhance customer satisfaction and improve business efficiency.
  • Expand existing operations and develop strategic partners for supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to align with business growth objectives.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Build, test, and repair products for new and existing customers as needed.
  • Support potential US and worldwide market partners and customers.
  • Key Qualifications

    • Passion for entrepreneurship, start-up mindset.
    • Big picture thinking, effective communication skills.
    • Project management experience required, able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at the same time.
    • 1-3 years of work experience with production functions and outside partners e.g. contract manufacturer, supplier, logistics forwarder, and etc.
    • 1-3 years of hands-on work experience with mechanical and electrical products.
    • Able to travel frequently to factories, vendors, and other 3rd party partners as needed.
    • English reading and writing proficiency. Verbal proficiency a preferred.
    • Well organized, goal driven.
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office software. Technical documentation experiences a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree minimum. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, and related field preferred.
